1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using the Curious Ira service at curiousira.in, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including parents, guardians, and children using the app under parental supervision.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Curious Ira account. The service is intended for use by children aged 5–9 under the supervision and account ownership of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian responsible for the child profiles you create.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment is taken during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your chosen plan will activate and billing will begin unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per household.
4. Subscription & Billing
- Monthly Plan: ₹249/month, billed each month on the date you subscribed. Supports 1 child profile.
- Annual Plan: ₹1,999/year, billed once per year. Supports up to 3 child profiles.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via email.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard (Dashboard → Profile → Subscription → Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. There is no cancellation fee.

6. Permitted Use
Curious Ira is licensed for personal, family use only. You may:
- Use the service for your own children within the household.
- Access the app on any personal device you own.
You may not:
- Share your account login with people outside your immediate family household.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service.
- Use the service for commercial purposes (e.g., in a school or coaching centre) without a separate licensing agreement.
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or extract stories, audio, or any content from the platform.
7. Content Ownership
All stories, narrations, illustrations, quiz content, and other materials on Curious Ira are the intellectual property of Curious Ira or its licensed content partners. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for personal family use during your active subscription. This licence does not grant ownership of any content.
8. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and Parent PIN. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@curiousira.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep Curious Ira available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update content, or make improvements that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to give advance notice of planned downtime.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curious Ira's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, device issues, or any outcomes arising from story content. Content is provided for entertainment and educational purposes — it is not a substitute for professional educational or medical advice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
